LogixPath Chef software provides a set of tools for professional chefs, home chefs, and dietitians to lookup food nutrition, manage foods and recipes, plan and track daily food intakes, calculate recipe nutrition values based on ingredients, aggregate food intakes nutrition values, etc. With these tools, users can select nutritional foods and ingredients for their daily meals and recipes to meet individual's nutritional needs. LogixPath Chef key features include:
1. Foundation foods nutrition lookup. Foods and nutrition data come from USDA Food database.
2. Nutrients learning. Nutrients include common macronutrients, vitamins, and minerals. User can search nutrients by nutrient name or effect to body function.
3. Recipe builder, management, and nutrition analysis. It also generates FDA compliant food nutrition labels.
4. User entered customized foods management, such as commercially available nutrition supplements, ready-to-eat foods, etc.
5. My Foods management for quicker search and nutrition references of frequently consumed foods.
6. Daily food intake planning and tracking. The software automatically calculates intake foods nutrition values and aggregates their total daily nutrition values.
7. Individual person's daily Basic Calories Requirement (BMR) calculator. A person's Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator.

With this new release, LogixPath Chef can track, aggregate, and report amount of Added Sugars and other special nutrients (such as Omega-3 fatty acids) in the foods. This feature is applied to foundation foods, customized foods, recipes, and food intakes tracking.
